I liked this okay, but my grandson grew tired of them. When I tried to cancel my renewed subscription they refused to cancel it. I have to pay for the remaining 4 crates on my subscription and then they wont autorenew it. So, you can cancel autorenew but you CANNOT CANCEL subscriptions.

These kits are cheesy and over priced. Books are will written and colorful, however, over priced. Amazon is much cheaper and customer service is always much better. My biggest problem was dealing with customer service. Very rude.

These crates are hit and miss. Out of three we have had two that are not great and one that was over the top awesome. The biggest problem we had was shipping. For example, was that our "February" box was shipped March 1st from California. As of March 10th, we still don't have it in Utah. And they don't have a "monthly" box. So you get left overs. My second son got the same one my first son got a few months ago. I hate that. Not worth the money. Do a youtube search and make them yourself.

oh kiwi crate, how we love you. it's like the gift of one hour each month, because my kids gather around it no matter what they were doing before the mail came. from the ten year old, down to my toddler, everybody finds something to dig about the craft the homemade arcade box? that one sparked a week of play & other projects. they include everything you need, the quality of the art supplies isn't too shoddy, and they always have coupons and promotions to keep cost down.

We just got our first box for my 5 year old daughter. The theme was "Making Puppets". My mom did the first activity with her and said that it was easy to do. The lion marionette they made is absolutely adorable! Danica loved this box and it's perfect for her age and attention span. We will continue with our subscription.

I have just signed up for my daughter and so far I have received a box themed "dinosaurs" and another box on the way is themed "sports". I am disappointed that so far the themes are very gender biased. They don't ask what gender the child is on sign up, so I think they should go with more gender neutral themes. My girl just isn't interested in dinosaurs and sports. She's much more in to girly things or just regular arts and crafts.

I got the Kiwi Crate and the Koala Crate for younger kids. I haven't received my first Kiwi Crate yet, but I did get the Koala crate. It's really cute, but I wasn't that impressed. I got the color crate and it did have a few crafts, watercolors, and crayons, plus some color cards but I just wasn't that impressed for the price. I'm hoping the next month will be better otherwise I'll cancel. I have higher hopes for the Kiwi crate so hopefully that works out.
