GlobeIn is an awesome box.Each month it seems tops the past 1 and the customer service is top-notch keeping me informed every step of the way that my box takes reaching me.The handmade items are things that I use in everyday living also, not just pretties to look at!

I received my first box this week and am very happy with it. I registered late in February, but customer service was quick to help me evaluate the available themes to select. Note - if you pick "surprise," you may get a theme not on the list, which is what happened to me. I was very pleased with the quality and beauty of all the products I received and am looking forward to my next several months' of deliveries. I also got a bonus free mug, which is absolutely gorgeous! This subscription seems like a win-win - I get great products (to use myself or for gifts) while I'm helping women support themselves around the world. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for beautiful hand crafted items or that simply wants to help women around the globe.

Overall, I am very happy w/ GlobeIn products. That said, the billing policy, credits, skipping a shipment if you want is all very confusing. I am also inundated w/ emails, so I didn't notice the one for a certain box that I would have waited on. Fortunately my daughter will be happy with it. I do like the products, but am planning on canceling the subscription.

Beware, the artisan box "skipping" shipments policy is misleading. Per the FAQ you may skip by the 15th of the month in order to skip a shipment that month. However, you will still be billed for that month. This is because Globein bills you sometime during the month in advance for the next month. If your "bill date" (the date of the month you signed up initially) falls on the 10th, for example, and you want to skip the month of February, then you have to skip ahead of Jan. 10th otherwise you'll be charged for Feb. The policy is unclear and misleading. They should remove the skip option altogether if they can't sync it with the billing cycle.

my subscription is just about up and was not sure if I was going to renew. But my latest box arrived and i had a broken glass in there. I sent an email like the web site said and with in 15 minuets i got a generic email about costumer service closed and that would respond within 24 to 48 hours. the next morning i received an personal email asking if i received one or 2 broken glasses. and with in 24 hours of my response they had shipped out a replacement. I am very pleased with how this was handled and the costumer service. I will be renewing for sure.

I just canceled my GlobeIn artisan box subscription, it seems like every month there is some kind of issue, be it a problem with shipping so things get shipped late (I haven't received ANY of my boxes in the month they were supposed to arrive). And most recently I ordered a box because I loved a specific item that was in it, only to find out they had an inventory error so some boxes would be getting a different item instead, so of course I didn't get the item that I specifically wanted, and another item was also missing from my box. Until they can work our their shipping problems and inventory issues I am absolutely not willing to pay the new higher price of $55 per box.
