Black Box is a hidden gem. I've gotten four of their standard boxes now, and I adore it. Every box is completely personalized for you, especially if you give them feedback on previous boxes (there's no feedback system—you just email or message them on FB). A lot of the other subscription boxes tends to work with the same brands or suppliers, but everything I've gotten from Black Box has been totally unique. Some of their makeup or filler items can come off a little cheap for me, but the jewelry and accessories completely make up for that. I honestly wear the sh*t out of everything they send me, like every day, because they fit my style so well and was chosen in such great taste. They're a totally indie operation where you have an actual human being, one of the owners, picking out stuff they think you'd like. My box honestly looks more like an Anthropologie box right now than a goth box, while other subscribers who like bat rings and spider bracelets get pieces suited to their style. Not all the items are handmade, but I've gotten items that evidently were, and they also include samples from different Etsy shops. One thing to note is that because they are a indie business, their system can come off a little unpolished compared to other services (as in you subscribe using Paypal, and their survey is done via email and Surveymonkey), but they are totally legit, and their shipping is actually really timely. I highly recommend them for anybody who wants to subscribe to something unique and different.
